The Fiji TimesReshuffle, cessation of PS contracts
The Public Service Fee has introduced a reshuffle and cessation of contracts of some everlasting secretary positions.
The modifications are: Susan Kiran former PS for Civil Service, performing PS for Justice and Cupboard Secretary has been re-assigned as Secretary to Cupboard.
Yogesh Karan, former PS within the Prime Minister’s Workplace, International Affairs, Immigration and Sugar has been re-assigned as PS for Multi-Ethnic Affairs and Sugar Trade.
Shaheen Ali former PS for Commerce, Commerce, Tourism and Transport has been re-assigned as PS for Commerce, Co-operatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, and Communications. Tupou’tuah Baravilala’s performing appointment as PS for Communications has ceased.
Atish Kumar, Director Labour Commonplace Providers is performing as PS for Employment, Productiveness and Industrial Relations on completion of contract of Osea Cawaru.
Atelaite Rokosuka, Deputy Secretary, Fisheries, will act as PS for Fisheries and Forestry from subsequent week.
Salaseini Daunabuna, PS for Rural and Maritime Growth and Catastrophe Administration shall be re-assigned as PS for Tourism and Civil Aviation from subsequent week.
Mitieli Cama, Deputy Secretary within the Ministry of Rural and Maritime Growth and Catastrophe Administration will act as PS from subsequent week.
Ashwin Raj’s appointment as PS for Girls, Kids and Poverty Alleviation will come to an finish from 31 January 2023.
Dr Josefa Koroivueta will succeed Mr Raj in an performing capability from 7 February, 2023.
