Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem highlighted this as 23 Group Elections Advocates (CEA) obtained their allowances for conducting election consciousness classes of their respective teams.
The Fijian Elections Workplace (FEO) has this week disbursed $7,350 to 23 communities in Fiji as a part of the Group Engagement Undertaking in partnership with the United Nations Improvement Programme (UNDP).
Mr Saneem stated the programme is progressing properly and the CEA’s have executed properly in conducting voting associated talanoa inside their communities and the cost is for the communities to make use of for his or her initiatives.
The CEA’s are required to conduct a 15-minute consciousness session on elections with their group members and relying on the variety of contributors who attend the session, the group receives a grant which is able to go in the direction of any improvement exercise that advantages their group.
