Residents in Tavua to Rakiraki are suggested of a deliberate energy outage of their areas with upkeep works scheduled to be carried out in respective stations within the Western Division.
Vitality Fiji Restricted (EFL) says crucial upkeep works might be carried out on its 33,000 Volt transmission line – that carries energy from the Tavua Zone Switching Station to the Volivoli Zone Substation – from 6am as we speak (Sunday, Might 29, 2022) to 6pm, climate allowing.
And it says to allow engineers to undertake this train, they might want to de-energise the 33,000 volts transmission line from its Tavua 33kV Zone Substation to the Volivoli 33kV Zone Substation from.
Because of this deliberate upkeep works, there might be a deliberate energy outage affecting EFL prospects from Tavua to Rakiraki.
